Nester, the UK’s first P2P Property Investment platform backs talented boxer

LONDON, 11 August 2023 – Nester has become an official sponsor of Hamzah Sheeraz, the undefeated professional boxer, who is quickly ascending world rankings, and is a rising star of the sport in the UK.

Hamzah is undefeated in 17 fights with 13 knockouts and is already a WBC European Silver Champion.

Commenting on the sponsorship, Youness Abidou, CEO of Nester, said: “We hope our backing for such a talented young boxer will help him reach his goals. Our partnership with Hamzah is built on common values and shared principles. We are both challengers looking to achieve great things through hard work, perseverance and dedication, so we are very proud to be supporting him as he builds his career.”

Hamza’s next fight will be against the well-respected Ukrainian fighter Dmytro Mytrofanov, on 26 August 2023 at the Tarczyński Arena in Wrocław Poland, as part of the undercard for the Usyk-Dubois fight.

ABOUT HAMZAH SHEERAZ

Sheeraz was born in Slough, Berkshire, England into a family of fighters. His grandfather and uncle were both boxers, the latter winning ten national amateur titles for the Slough and Pinewood Star Clubs. Sheeraz was first directed to a gym by his uncle at the age of eight and had his first bout at 12. He went on to become a three-time finalist at the national junior championships. However, he became disillusioned with the sport after being overlooked for the Commonwealth Youth Championships and took a year off to focus on an electrician's apprenticeship. A meeting with his then-trainer Lenny Butcher led him to come back and try his hand as a professional. He is now signed by Hall of Fame boxing promoter Frank Warren and is a WBC Silver Middleweight Champion having successfully defeated Francisco Emanuel Torres on 16/07/22 with an explosive fifth round TKO.
