The National Zakat Foundation has chosen Nester, a UK-based FCA regulated Islamic finance fintech, as its latest investment partner. The National Zakat Foundation has made significant investments across properties in the UK using Nester's unique sharia compliant fixed income investment technology.
The move signals Nester's continued support of the charity sector.
Nester's CEO, Youness Abidou, had this to say about working with the National Zakat Foundation: "Working with Muslim charities has been a core focus of Nester's vision of empowerment and inclusive finance. Collaborating with the NZF is a great accomplishment and the first step to growing the Islamic finance sector to support the wider Muslim community and businesses within it".
Nester was founded by Islamic Finance industry veterans Mohammed Paracha and Youness Abidou. Nester continues to grow its list of investment opportunities and is committed to providing the Muslim community with accessible investments and Islamic finance. The platform has experienced hyper growth from the beginning of the year and has listed several new assets in recent months.
“I’m delighted that NZF is partnering with Nester. Helping to build a thriving Muslim community across the UK is our mission and finding organisations that share our commitment and outlook is key. I am very excited by this collaboration and what we may build together” - Dr Sohail Hanif, CEO of NZF.
